CEU President and Rector, John Shattuck, gave an interview to HVG about the 20th Anniversary of the University, which was published today (33th volume, 20th issue, pages 32-33.). Both the original Hungarian article and the English translation are attached below.
HVG is a color 80-100 page Hungarian liberal political and economic weekly. It styles itself as the Hungarian Economist. Its circulation is 80,000 and its readership is around 200,000 consisting mostly of the opinion forming and intellectual elite. Seventy percent of its sales go via subscription. It has several key sections, such as the two-page "Interview" section in the middle, which portray prominent personalities and/or issues of the day.
